PRACTITIONER VIEW ONLY: Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), once in its active form of pyridoxal-5-phosphate is an essential cofactor for a majority of metabolic pathways of neurotransmitters, including serotonin, gamma-amino-butyric acid (GABA), dopamine, epinephrine, and norepinephrine.
