Welcome to our first newsletter of 2009! My name is Eliza Tulloch (Elly) and I will be taking over from Karl in keeping you up-to-date with everything going on at Kingsway Compounding, as well as any new or interesting topics/products within the biomedical field. I am a qualified Nutritionist and Food Technologist, have strong familiarity and experience of the DAN and Pfeiffer treatment protocols, and am a PCCA Trained Compound Technician.
Having spent the last 4 years working at Kingsway, as a compound technician I have gained a strong interest and quite an intimate knowledge of the processes involved in successfully treating many biomedical disorders. I have witnessed first hand how beneficial the correct treatment can be, as well as the significant increase in the rate of these disorders. The numbers of children being diagnosed with ASD are growing significantly every year and at present the only thing that convention medicine has to offer is pharmaceutical drugs, which only work to suppress few symptoms, i.e. a “bandaide” fix. They are not by any means, looking at correcting the actual cause of a symptom (or the condition).
The products and services offered at Kingsway help to support the body in rebalancing biochemistry so that “metabolic, immunologic, neurologic and digestive systems are all working optimally” (i.e. biomedical intervention). We use an integrative approach that relies on treating the individual with the supervision of professionals looking at all facets of the individual’s health in the proper sequence.
I have witnessed first hand the rapidly increasing number of children affected by ASD, as well as the rapidly increasing number of families turning to biomedical treatment. This is because most GP’s, practicing conventional medicine, will say “there is nothing that can be done”, Autism is “untreatable” (some may prescribe a few pharmaceutical drugs to suppress the symptoms). Biomedical treatment is not guaranteeing that every child that walks through the door will be fixed or symptom free, however it is offering hope, and promise and that is a lot more than most conventional doctors are offering.
