Primary Course in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine
12-13 March, 2 days face-to-face + equivalent of 2 days online, 4 months online access
The Primary Course, ACNEM’s ‘flagship’ foundation training course in NEM contains 30 hours of content (lectures and discussion sessions) delivered over two days face-to-face and the equivalent of another two days of online lectures plus online discussion forums and other learning tools. The Primary Course is designed for GPs, registrars, specialists and other graduate healthcare professionals.
The course provides practical, evidence-based post graduate medical training in NEM, covering the key nutritional, environmental and biochemical factors affecting health and well-being. The course will provide you with new and improved treatment approaches to many conditions seen in primary care, with guidelines and practical tools for immediate integration in clinical practice.

This popular ACNEM training program presents a comprehensive NEM approach to treating ‘children as children’. The NEM approach to paediatrics commences with the nutritional requirements for healthy pregnancy and breastfeeding, birth and optimal development in the early years of life, food additives and preservatives, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum (ASD) and other behavioural disorders, allergies, sensitivities and intolerances, common immune problems, family and support strategies, hormonal changes, adolescent mental health and eating disorders.
