This is ACNEM’s flagship foundation NEM course. Each location that the flagship course is held has a different focus, Perth is focussing on Gastrointestinal Conditions.
Primary Course in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine
20-21 August, 2 days face to face + 2 days online + required activities
The Primary Course, ACNEM’s ‘flagship’ foundation training course in NEM contains 30 hours of content (lectures and discussion sessions) delivered over two days face-to-face and the equivalent of another two days of online lectures plus online discussion forums and other learning tools. The Primary Course is designed for GPs, registrars, specialists and other graduate healthcare professionals.
The course provides practical, evidence-based post graduate medical training in NEM, covering the key nutritional, environmental and biochemical factors affecting health and well-being. The course will provide you with new and improved treatment approaches to many conditions seen in primary care, with guidelines and practical tools for immediate integration in clinical practice.

A practical evidence-based NEM approach to gastrointestinal conditions including reflux, bloating, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea, constipation, irritable bowel, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn’s, colitis, Coeliac, pre and probiotics, FODMAPS, intestinal permeability, bacterial overgrowth, parasites and more.
