The Science of Nutrition in Medicine and Healthcare (6th International Conference)
April 30, 2016 @ 8:00 am - May 1, 2016 @ 5:00 pm
The Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) is proud to announce the 6th International Science of Nutrition in Medicine and Healthcare Conference, to be held on 31 April and 1 May 2016 at the Sofitel Wentworth Sydney, Australia.
Nutritional Medicine and Challenges of the 21st Century…
Once again, the Food and Nutrition Flagship of CSIRO, and the Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA) are collaborating with ACNEM to present this event.
This unique and world-class international meeting brings together the medical, nutrition and scientific communities to explore the clinical application of the latest research and new concepts in nutritional, genetic and genomic science. The first five conferences were each a sell-out success with an average of 400 delegates in attendance.
An impressive line-up of world experts, along with key public health, political and industry figures will be present to explore the conference themes and their inter-relationship.
We extend a warm invitation for you to join us at what will again be an informative, intellectually challenging and clinically significant event.
A/Prof Eugen Molodysky, President, ACNEM Prof Michael Fenech, CSIRO Team Leader and President Asia-Pacific Nutrigenomics & Nutrigenetics Organisation Dr Malcolm Riley, President, NSA

Toxins: Nutrition and the Environment
From the convenors and scientific committee…
The 2016 Conference themes will address the interaction between allergies, autoimmune and immune dysfunction and the possible role of environmental factors such as nutrition and toxins. The developmental origins of health and disease will be further explored in the child and adolescent health stream.
Our world is becoming increasingly affected by toxins; and there is emerging evidence that this will impact on the health of present and future generations.
This conference will bring together researchers, clinicians and specialists to focus on the immune system, child and adolescent health development, and the role of nutrition, toxins and genetic makeup.
