"Our patients need to know that they are getting quality, consistent medicines and we have been able to achieve this by being the first and only ISO 9001:2015 accredited compounding pharmacy in Australia. We are very proud of our achievement."

What is the most exciting part of your job?
I’ve wanted to be a pharmacist since I was 4 years old and I really love my job. The most exciting part of my job is serving the community and being part of patients’ health journeys. Seeing patients getting better because of a medication that we have compounded is very rewarding.
What is your most-used healthy lifestyle hack?
Walking in nature. Walking allows me to de-stress, clear my head, get fit and admire the beauty of nature around me.
Do you often find yourself needing to bust any particular health myths?
Yes, definitely. Everyone is a unique individual and therapies that work in some people don’t necessarily work for others. Providing a tailored medicine for the individual is what we do.
What do you do to relax and free your mind?
As mentioned before, walking, but also gardening and reading. Gardening soothes your mind, exercises and earths your body, exposes you to sunlight which helps your vitamin D levels and connects you with nature.
Kingsway compounding is located in Sydney's beautiful Northern Beaches. What are your favourite things to do locally?
The Northern Beaches have some amazing coastal walking tracks particularly from Curl Curl to Long Reef. Other times just grabbing a take away coffee and looking at the sea during my lunch break is bliss.
What is the best place you have travelled to?
Definitely Barcelona. We went there for 5 days on the way to Italy and we definitely want to go back. It is a beautiful city with amazing architecture (for example Gaudi, in particular, Park Guell and La Sagrada Familia), brilliant art and amazing food. It ticks all the boxes!
What is the best concert you have been to?
I took my family to see U2 at the SCG in November 2019 and it was incredible. And luckily it was just before COVID hit.
